Thoughts about Waldorf pedagogy

In my eyes practical Waldorf pedagogy needs an actualization. I reflected about the classical modern pedagogy (which is ahrimanic/materialistic) and the Steiner schools:
Steiner said that Christ-thoughts in a living manner produce three effects:

- soul: love of neighbor & universal philanthropy instead of (luciferic) egoism
- spirit: conscious wisdom instead of superficial, materialistic (ahrimanic) cleverness
- body: physical healing and health instead of illness and death

For the Waldorf pedagogy these aspects are central:
- arts (music, painting, writing etc.)
- informal education for wisdom and morality instead of dead intellectuality
- healthy lifestyle (nutrition, balance between regeneration and physical activity)
In my eyes Steiner´s pedagogy fulfills all of these points, but the problem is that in modern society Waldorf schools are very much confronted with ahrimanic beings - e.g. transported by modern technology (mass media, disaffection from a natural, healthy lifestyle).

Shall Waldorf use modern technology (like the Internet) for spiritual impulse? I am not sure, but I am convinced that Arts should be a basic of education to nurture the talents of each pupil individually. And if Arts is transported by the Internet then it could be used for education. Generally Steiner schools should become modern in sense of the contemporary. Times have changed a lot since 1920 and I guess that it is possibly Necessary to update the Waldorf conception to make deep spirituality - as prepared by Rudolf Steiner - available for every single human.
